  Corporate social responsibility

This non-profit, private endeavour providing a refuge for abused, abandoned and street children started in July 2001. Siphumelele have since taken in and cared for more than 345 children of whom 35% have successfully been re-united with a parent or extended families.

At KWE, our aim is to create an opportunity for young adults to be mentored and trained in a corporate environment. The work and commitment of the Siphumelele team deeply resonates with our values. We have successfully employed two individuals thusfar on learnership contracts and they are progressing well. We have also extended our support through funding the transport of the children to school.
