Pioneering services in new markets
Since the establishment of KWE World Express in 1948 as an airfreight forwarding business, we have continuously developed new business markets and service opportunities. This pioneering spirit endures well into the new millennium with the focus on China due to their rapidly growing economy, as well as emerging markets in Africa, Middle East Africa.
By March 2010, we exponentially grew our logistics services to 11 subsidiaries, operating 109 locations in 44 cities in 57 warehouses of 312 531 m². Our continued growth and organic fusion of international forwarding and logistics means that KWE develops new logistics infrastructure to meet future market demand ahead of time.
This same business philosophy applies throughout the KWE network. In South Africa, we fully grasp the uniqueness and constraints of operational conditions locally and within Sub-Saharan Africa. Evidenced in the numerous awards we have achieved, this stands as testimony how well we manage global business accounts.
